Pakistan food exporters extend stay in Jeddah

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Pakistan food exporters delegation, currently visiting Jeddah to explore avenues of collaboration and joint ventures, extended their stay by another week due to the highly encouraging response from Saudi stakeholders.

The delegation is actively engaging with Saudi entrepreneurs to strengthen business ties and promote Pakistan’s high-quality food products in the Kingdom’s vibrant market.

The delegation head Saif-ur-Rehman said in a media statement issued here on Wednesday, "We are holding a series of successful and result-oriented meetings aimed at enhancing the volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

"

Discussions are particularly focused on the food sector, especially the export of premium quality snacks and processed food items, he added.

Saif, who is also Coordinator to Federal Tax Ombudsman, said that positive interaction with Saudi business leaders has opened promising prospects for joint ventures, technology sharing, and long-term trade partnerships, which are expected to further boost Pakistan’s food exports and strengthen economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
