Pakistan Day observed with unity, national songs at Alhamra

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) The Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) on Monday marked Pakistan Day with a dignified ceremony featuring a flag-hoisting, patriotic performances, and special prayers for the country’s progress and stability.

Alhamra Executive Director Muhammad Nawaz Gondal led the flag-hoisting ceremony, while a band performance paid tribute to the nation’s founding leaders, creating an atmosphere of national enthusiasm. Officers and staff, including Deputy Director Admin Umair Hassan and Deputy Director Archives Muhammad Arif, attended the event.

Special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s prosperity, reflecting collective hopes for a stronger future.

Addressing the gathering, he said Pakistan Day symbolizes unity and patriotism, adding that Alhamra continues to promote peace, harmony, and national cohesion through its cultural platform.

The ceremony concluded with participants raising slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad,” as national songs stirred emotions of pride and devotion.
