Pakistan Day observed with national zeal in Tank

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) A dignified ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Tank on the occasion of Pakistan Day here on Monday.

A large number of government officials, local elders, students, and citizens in attendance.

Additional Deputy Commissioner General Nematullah, Assistant Commissioner Jamshed Alam, and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Headquarters Imranullah, along with other district officials, participated in the event.

The ceremony began with a flag-hoisting event, where a well-disciplined police contingent presented a salute to the national flag.

Special prayers were offered for the country’s security, progress, and prosperity.

Speakers highlighted the historical significance of Pakistan Day, saying that March 23 served as a day to renew commitment to the principles of unity, faith, and discipline.

They expressed the resolve that all segments of society would play their role in making the country a strong, stable, and prosperous nation.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants reaffirmed their commitment to promoting national unity, harmony, and patriotism.
