ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Pakistan Day was observed across Hazara Division on March 23 with great national spirit and enthusiasm, as flag hoisting ceremonies and special events were organized in Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, and Balakot to commemorate the historic day and reaffirm commitment to the country’s progress and stability.

In Abbottabad, a dignified flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, where officials, officers, and staff gathered to celebrate the occasion with patriotism and unity. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem, after which the national flag was hoisted amid a renewed pledge to serve the nation with dedication and integrity.

Similarly, in Haripur, a simple yet graceful ceremony took place at the Deputy Commissioner Office. The event highlighted the core principles of unity, faith, and discipline, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts for Pakistan’s development and prosperity. Participants reiterated their resolve to work together for a stronger and more stable Pakistan.

In Mansehra, the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Office hosted a vibrant and well-organized ceremony.

The proceedings commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem and flag hoisting. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Usman Ali, Assistant Commissioner Mansehra, along with other officers and staff, attended the event. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to performing their duties responsibly for the country’s growth and stability.

Meanwhile, in Balakot, a similar flag hoisting ceremony was held at the TMA Office. Assistant Commissioner Balakot and SP Balakot, along with officials and staff, participated in the event. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem and hoisting of the national flag.

Across Hazara Division, the ceremonies reflected a strong sense of unity, patriotism, and renewed commitment among government officials and citizens alike, marking Pakistan Day as a reminder of the country’s historic journey and the collective responsibility to strive for its continued progress and prosperity.
