Pakistan Day marked by a rally in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Pakistan Day was celebrated in Hyderabad with great enthusiasm and national spirit, as slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” echoed in the air during a dignified event held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.

The event was organized by Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul-Abedin Memon and was attended by district officials and members of civil society in large numbers.

Addressing the media, the Deputy Commissioner said Pakistan Day renewed the nation’s commitment to safeguard the integrity and sovereignty of the country. He stressed the importance of instilling the message of patriotism and national responsibility in the younger generation.

He further stated that the Lahore Resolution paved the way for a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent, adding that countless sacrifices were rendered by the forefathers to achieve this dream.

“March 23 brought a historic message of hope and independence for Muslims,” he remarked, adding that the entire nation is celebrating the day with unity and zeal.

A walk was also led by the Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Saba Israr, Assistant Commissioners of respective talukas, Assistant Commissioners under training, Assistant Commissioner Taluka Latifabad Saud Khan, Assistant Commissioner Taluka Qasimabad Hataf Siyal, and DSP Cantt Paras. Children from various schools also participated in the event, adding color and vibrancy to the celebrations.
