Pakistan Day ceremony held at DC complex

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) A ceremony marking Pakistan Day was held at the Deputy Commissioner Complex on Monday,with officials and representatives from various segments of society in attendance.

Deputy Commissioner(DC) Saba Asghar Ali and DPO Captain (R) Dost Muhammad attended the event, according to a spokesperson for the district administration.

The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag and the playing of the national anthem, while contingents of Punjab Police, Rescue 1122 and Civil Defence presented a salute.

Addressing the gathering, the deputy commissioner said the day symbolized a renewed pledge to defend Pakistan at all costs, urging citizens to honor the sacrifices made for its creation.

The DPO emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation about the ideology of Pakistan,stating that unity, faith and discipline were essential for national development.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the country’s security, progress and prosperity,as participants reaffirmed their commitment to a strong and prosperous Pakistan.
