Pakistan Day celebrated with zeal in Faisalabad

and traditional fervor as the main flag-hoisting ceremony was held at Deputy Commissioner (DC)

Complex to reaffirm commitment to unity, faith and discipline.

Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir along with other distinguished guests hoisted the national flag amid an impressive gathering of officials and citizens.

A smartly turned-out contingent of Punjab police presented a salute to the national flag while the police band played the national anthem, creating a charged atmosphere filled with chants of “Pakistan Zindabad”.

Additional Deputy Commissioner General Fazal Abbas, Assistant Commissioner (AC) City Adil Umar, Admin Officer DC Office and price Control Magistrate Riaz Hussain Anjum, CEO education Rao Abdul Kareem, District Civil Defense Officer Rana Abbas, senior police officers, political figures, representatives of the business community, families of martyrs and officials from Rescue 1122, Traffic Police, Civil Defense, Fire Brigade and other emergency services were also present on the occasion in addition to large number of members from civil society.

Special prayers were offered for progress, prosperity, peace and stability of the country while “Fateha” was also offered for the martyrs of Pakistan Movement who rendered unprecedented sacrifices for the creation of this homeland.
