Pakistan, Azerbaijan discuss energy cooperation on WUF13 sidelines

BAKU, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Musadik Malik met Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov in Baku on Wednesday and discussed bilateral cooperation in energy, climate resilience and sustainable development.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the World Urban Forum 13, where both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

According to a statement, the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral ties in the energy sector, promoting sustainable development initiatives and addressing climate-related challenges through greater cooperation.
