Pakistan Army Soldier Rehan Nawaz martyred in operation Ghazab-ul-Haq

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2026) Rehan Nawaz, a brave soldier from Chiniot, laid down his life defending the homeland during Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq. His mortal remains were laid to rest with full state honors in his native village, Peepal Bhatta.

According to APP correspondent, a large number of police officers, civil officials, and locals attended the funeral prayers. A Pakistan Army contingent presented a salute, and Rehan Nawaz was buried with official honors. DSP Lalian Masood Nazir also attended the ceremony.

Rehan Nawaz fought bravely in an intense exchange of fire, sacrificing his life in the line of duty.

The operation aimed to foil infiltration and terrorist attempts from across the border.

DSP Lalian Masood Nazir paid tribute to the martyr, saying such sacrifices guarantee national security and stability. He added that the nation will remember Rehan Nawaz's sacrifice.

Rehan Nawaz's supreme sacrifice will inspire future generations, reflecting his courage and dedication to the country. His bravery will be remembered as a symbol of patriotism.
