Pak-Kashmir diaspora hails civil-military leadership for elevating Pakistan’s global image

MIRPUR (AJK) Apr 20 (APP), (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 20th Apr, 2026) Members of the Pakistan and Kashmir diaspora have praised the country’s civil and military leadership, saying Pakistan’s global standing had risen significantly in recent times.

Speaking in Spain, the head of the Overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris Forum, Baba Gujjar, said Pakistanis around the world were holding their heads high with pride, citing what he described as growing international recognition of the country’s leadership, said a message received here on Monday.

He said that even U.S. President Donald Trump had expressed appreciation for Pakistan,s Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir .

In remarks shared with media, Gujjar said the acknowledgment reflected Pakistan’s role in promoting regional and global stability.

He credited the military leadership with contributing to peace efforts and strengthening the country’s international position.

Gujjar further said Pakistan’s efforts in counter terrorism, border security, and regional stability had been recognized by global stakeholders.

He added that leadership qualities, including integrity and decisiveness, had contributed more stable and credible image of Pakistan on the world stage.

He also attributed Pakistan’s leadership with playing a constructive role in easing international tensions, though specific details of such involvement were not independently verified.
