Pakistan initiated Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq after unprovoked firing by the Afghan Taliban along the Pak-Afghan border. Security sources report 133 Afghan Taliban members killed, over 200 injured, and 27 check posts destroyed. Pakistani forces captured several posts while suffering 2 martyrs and 3 injured in the ongoing Pakistan Afghanistan war escalation.
As per the reports coming in from the Pak-Afghan border this morning, and the details hit hard. Pakistan launched Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq to counter what security sources call unprovoked aggression from the Afghan Taliban regime.
Pakistani forces struck back decisively. They killed 133 Afghan Taliban members and injured more than 200. They destroyed 27 Afghan check posts completely.
In the counteroffensive, troops wiped out three Afghan Taliban battalions and one sector headquarters. They burned an arms depot to the ground. Over 80 tanks, artillery units, and armored vehicles went up in flames.
Pakistan lost two soldiers martyred and three injured in defense of the border.
The Afghan Taliban opened fire at multiple points along the Pak-Afghan border. Pakistani operations hit hard in Nawagai sector of Bajaur, Tirah area of Khyber, and Chitral sector. Forces demolished Afghan posts there.
In Mohmand’s Gursal sector and Wali Khan sector, troops razed Afghan posts. Two more fell in Bajaur. In Afghanistan’s Paktika province, forces captured one Taliban post after fighters fled. They targeted key military installations and corps headquarters in Paktika.
Near Kurram sector, strikes destroyed several hideouts and killed eight militants. An Afghan post in Angoor Adda vanished.
The Afghan Taliban tried drone attacks with quadcopters on Pakistani check posts. Forces shot them all down fast. Then Pakistani drones hit Taliban positions.
Security sources say the Afghan Taliban push false claims and fake videos on social media. Pakistan’s forces stay ready to defend the border and respond strongly.
After heavy losses, the Afghan Taliban shelled civilian areas. In Bajaur’s Laghari area, mortar shells wounded five people, including women. They reached Khar Hospital for treatment.
Pakistani forces captured several Afghan posts and raised the national flag. The Pakistan Air Force destroyed a major ammunition depot in Nangarhar, plus a logistics base and arms depot in Kandahar.
Officials stress Pakistan will never compromise on border protection and national security amid this Pakistan Afghanistan conflict.
