P&D department setup complaint cell

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2026) The Planning & Development (P&D) Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, has established a "Complaint Cell" for registering public complaints, suggestions, and feedback on development projects.

Now every citizen can directly report delays in development projects, substandard construction, incomplete work, or any public issue enabling relevant institutions to take timely action and ensure effective resolution.

This follows Chef Minister Sohail Afridi's earlier directive in July 2026 that every department must establish a dedicated complaint cell and integrate it with the Chief Minister's Complaint Cell.

Additionally, in June 2026, CM Afridi had already inaugurated an Anti-Corruption Desk at the CM's Complaint Cell for direct public grievances.

This is not just a complaint system, but an effort to strengthen trust, transparency, and accountability between the government and the people.

The spokesperson said that our priority is a province where every citizen is heard, every project is monitored, and public resources are spent transparently for the people's welfare.
