Overseas rights to remain priority: AJK Presidential Adviser Malik Mir Kabul

MIRPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Newly appointed Adviser to the AJK President for Overseas Pakistanis in the United Kingdom, Malik Mir Kabul, on Sunday said that safeguarding the rights of overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris will remain a top priority, stressing that the diaspora is a valuable asset to the state.

He expressed these views while addressing a reception held in his honour in Dadayal, Mirpur district, where he was warmly welcomed by local notables and community members. The gathering was attended by political and social figures, who congratulated him on his new assignment.

The adviser said that strengthening engagement with overseas communities would help address their concerns in a more organised and effective manner.

He pledged to remain in close and continuous contact with the Kashmiri diaspora, particularly those residing in the United Kingdom, and to work actively for public welfare and state service.

Earlier, a delegation comprising Malik Tanveer of Ankar, Malik Rizwan of Kallar Syedan, and Chaudhry Allah Ditta Ganchor visited his residence to congratulate him. The delegation presented floral garlands and expressed confidence in his leadership, while discussions focused on regional issues and challenges faced by overseas communities.
