Over thirty foreign nationals arrested for labour, residency violations in Oman

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) A total of 37 expats have been arrested for violating labour and foreign residency laws in Muscat Governorate of Oman.

Royal Oman Police (ROP), said in a statement :"Thirty women and seven men of Asian and African nationalities were arrested by the Police Command of Muscat Governorate, in cooperation with the Alseeb Special Police Task Unit, for violating labor and foreign residency laws."

Legal procedures are being completed against them.
