Over 9,000 citizens served at Chiniot Police Khidmat Markaz in June

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) Police Khidmat Markaz Chiniot is providing services to citizens with modern facilities, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for better public service delivery.

The performance report of the Markaz for the month of June has been released. More than 9,000 citizens benefited from various police services at the Police Khidmat Markaz Chiniot last month.

During June, 2,238 learner permits, 947 learner permit renewals, 2,764 new regular licenses, and 14 new international driving licenses were issued through the center.

The police also registered 1,731 police verifications, 453 character certificates, 141 tenancy registrations, and 72 missing persons reports last month.

In addition, vehicle and mobile verification, employee verification, and other police services were provided. Speaking in this regard, District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif said all possible steps are being taken to improve public service delivery and promote public-friendly policing.

He added that 15 different facilities are being provided to citizens under one roof at the Police Service Centers, with timely guidance and facilities offered as per modern requirements.
