Over 24,209 tractors assembled in 10 months

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Tractor production in the country during the first 10 months of the current financial year was recorded at 24,209, compared to the production of 25,144 tractors during the same period last year.

Meanwhile, tractor sales during the period from July–April 2025–26 were recorded at 23,143, compared to sales of 24,832 tractors during the same period last year.

According to data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association, the output of Al-Ghazi Tractors during the period under review stood at 8,746 tractors in the first 10 months of the current financial year, compared to the production of 9,428 tractors during the same period last year.

On the other hand, sales of FIAT tractors were recorded at 7,899 during the period under review, compared to sales of 9,445 tractors during the same period last year.

Massey Ferguson produced about 15,463 tractors during the first 10 months of the current financial year, compared to the output of 15,715 tractors during the same period last year, whereas sales of the tractors were recorded at 15,217, compared to sales of 15,337 tractors during the same period last year.

Meanwhile, agricultural machinery manufacturing during the period from July–March 2026 grew by 77 percent compared to the corresponding period of the last financial year.

During the period under review, about 20 units of sugarcane machines were assembled, whereas the production of wheat threshers was recorded at 538 units.

According to data of large scale manufacturing industries released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, fertilizer manufacturing grew by 115.15 percent during the period from July–March 2026 compared to the same period last year.
