Over 200 policemen deployed at cattle markets in district

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) The district police completed all out security arrangements in temporary cattle markets in the district.

Over 200 police personnel including officers have been deployed in the markets round the clock for security cover.

A police spokesperson said on Tuesday that on the instructions of CPO Tanveer Hussain, foolproof security arrangements have been made at the 9 temporary cattle markets to protect sellers and buyers of the sacrificial animals.

Special checkposts have been set up at important places, in addition to setting up security fences at the cattle markets in Roshanwala, Sandalbar, Jaranwala, Chak Jhumra, Kharianwala, Samundri and Tandlianwala.
