Over 19,000 Hajj guidance materials distributed to pilgrims at Jeddah port

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has distributed more than 19,000 awareness and guidance materials to pilgrims arriving through Jeddah Islamic Port as part of efforts to facilitate pilgrims during the Hajj 1447 AH season.

According to SPA, the ministry’s Makkah Region branch completed reception arrangements for arriving pilgrims and distributed a total of 19,761 educational and guidance materials at the port.

The report said the materials included booklets and publications explaining Hajj rituals and providing religious guidance aimed at helping pilgrims perform their worship with ease, proper understanding and peace of mind.

The ministry also introduced pilgrims to various dawah and awareness services being provided during the Hajj season.

Authorities said the initiative forms part of broader field and awareness programs launched at entry points across the Kingdom to improve pilgrims’ religious awareness and facilitate the proper performance of Hajj rituals.

The ministry added that integrated guidance services are continuing at different arrival points to support pilgrims from the moment they enter Saudi Arabia.
