ORIC collaborated with SIMAP

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Government College Women University Sialkot collaborated with the Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (SIMAP) for the successful organization of the Technology Innovation Summit 2026.

As per release, Professor Dr Shazia Bashir, Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University Sialkot, attended the summit as the guest of honour. She visited stalls showcasing innovative products by leading surgical industries and appreciated the efforts promoting technological advancement and industry–academia collaboration.

Students and faculty members from the Departments of Computer Science & IT, business Administration, and Economics actively participated in the organization of the event, demonstrating their enthusiasm for innovation and professional engagement.
