Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos reflects bravery, professionalism of armed forces: MNA

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Member National Assembly (MNA) Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman has said the success of Operation “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” reflected the professionalism, courage and unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces towards safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and national security.

He expressed these views while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the new Iqbal Town campus of Awais academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS) Group of Institutions, held in a vibrant atmosphere with the participation of teachers, parents, students and people from different walks of life, here on Saturday.

Directors of the institution, including Muhammad Naveed Butt, Muhammad Zain Naveed, Muhammad Owais Naveed, Usama Farooq and Wajeehuddin welcomed the guests at the ceremony. Former MNA Mian Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmad, Chairman UC-78 Syed Amir Shah and Ali Raza Kamboh were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on Youm-e-Tashakur and the success of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman paid glowing tribute to the armed forces for their sacrifices in defence of the motherland.

He said the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with its brave soldiers and saluted their unmatched services for ensuring peace, stability and protection of the country. He said Pakistan desired peace in the region but would never compromise on its sovereignty, security and dignity. He added that the sacrifices rendered by the martyrs and security personnel would always be remembered with pride and respect.

The MNA also emphasized the role of educational institutions in building responsible citizens and promoting patriotism, discipline and moral values among the youth. He appreciated the efforts of Awais Academy of Arts and Science in providing quality education and termed the establishment of the new campus a positive step for students of the area.
