CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) The district administration in Chiniot is actively implementing the open-door policy under the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to ensure the swift resolution of public issues.

In this regard on Monday, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan held an open court at her office where she met citizens, listened to their complaints in detail, and issued on-the-spot directives to relevant departments for immediate action.

The hearing covered issues related to cleanliness, encroachments, health, education, drainage, and other municipal services.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed officials to resolve all applications on merit within the stipulated timeframe, stressing that any negligence or delay in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated.

She reiterated that government offices remain open to the public under the policy framework and directed officials to remain active in the field. She further emphasized courteous behavior toward citizens and the need for effective and lasting solutions to strengthen public trust in government institutions and improve governance across the district.
