Open court held to address public grievances

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jun, 2026) In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to ensure the prompt resolution of public grievances, the Lahore district administration on Tuesday organised an open court (Khuli Katcheri) to address revenue-related issues of citizens.

The open court was held on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Ijaz and was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Hafiz Karim Dad Chughtai, who personally listened to complaints related to inheritance, land mutation, property registration and other revenue matters.

He issued on-the-spot directions to the relevant officials for the immediate resolution of genuine cases.

Talking on the occasion, Hafiz Karim Dad Chughtai said that public issues related to the Revenue Department were being resolved on a priority basis and that every complaint received during the open court was being addressed in accordance with the law.

He stressed that unnecessary delays in inheritance, mutation and property registration cases would not be tolerated, adding that land disputes were being decided promptly on merit.
