Online buzz around IIOJK clip featuring youth’s praise for Syed Asim Munir, echoing support for Pakistan

The footage circulating rapidly online shows a Kashmiri youth openly praising Syed Asim Munir, with the video drawing attention across social media platforms and being viewed by some as an expression of pro-Pakistan sentiment among sections of youth in the region, reported Kashmir Media Service on Saturday.

In the footage, the youth makes a series of claims regarding past India-Pakistan tensions. He says, “The way the Pakistan Air Force humbled India in May 2025, Kashmir is witness to it.

Six Indian aircraft were shot down and India’s pride was shattered. Today, India is facing humiliation and disgrace across the world.

The Indian media misled its own people by spreading false narratives and unrealistic claims.”

The viral video shows a Kashmiri youth holding a poster of Syed Asim Munir while referring to past tensions between India and Pakistan, presenting his personal interpretation of regional developments; the claims made in the clip remain unverified.
