One killed, several injured in Swat accident

SWAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) At least one person was killed and several others sustained injuries when a school bus met with an accident near Matta tehsil in Swat district on Tuesday, according to rescue sources quoted by tv channels.

Initial reports stated that a bus carrying school students reportedly lost control due to brake failure and crashed in the Matta area. A girl died on the spot as a result of the accident.

Rescue team rushed to the scene and shifted the injured and the deceased to a nearby hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
