One killed, passerby injured in Lower Kurram shooting

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2026) A man was killed and a passerby injured in a shooting incident in Bagan area of Lower Kurram District on Sunday.

According to police, an unidentified assailant opened fire on the victim, who died at the scene.

A passerby was also struck by a bullet and sustained injuries during the attack.

The suspect fled the area before police arrived. Officers collected evidence from the scene and shifted the injured to a hospital for medical treatment.

Police said raids are being conducted at various locations to apprehend the accused.
