One killed in firing incident

TANK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) One person was killed in a firing incident reported near a bazar within the limits of the city police station, Tank district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday.

Police said according to initial reports said unidentified assailants opened fire near the bazar area, resulting in the death of one person on the spot, television channels reported.

Soon after receiving information about the incident, police team rushed to the scene and shifted the body to a nearby hospital for legal formalities. Police have launched a search operation in the area to arrest the perpetrators. Further investigation was underway.
