One killed, another injured as tractor-trolley overturns

KHANEWAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2026) One person was killed and another sustained injuries when a tractor-trolley overturned in Kabirwala tehsil of Khanewal district on Monday, rescue officials said.

According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred on the Kot Islam–Qatalpur Road near Kabirwala, where a tractor-trolley lost control and overturned.

Rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident and initiated relief operations.

The deceased was identified as 50-year-old Aslam, while the injured, 55-year-old Ghulam Muhammad, was provided first aid by rescuers before being shifted for medical treatment.

Rescue officials said the body and the injured person were transported to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Abdul Hakeem for necessary medico-legal formalities and treatment.

Further investigation into the cause of the accident was underway.
