One dies, another injured in trailer-bike collision

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) A young man was killed and a teenage boy injured when their motorcycle collided with a trailer on Alipur Road near Uch in Bahawalpur district on Friday.

According to officials of the Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122), both riders sustained injuries in the collision.

One of them was run over by the trailer and died at the scene due to severe injuries, while the other suffered injuries and is reported to be out of danger.

Rescue officials shifted the injured and the body of the deceased to the Rural Health Centre, Uch. The incident was reported to the relevant police, who have initiated legal proceedings.

The deceased was identified as 22-year-old Nouman, son of Ghulam Shabir, a resident of Jatoi tehsil. The injured was identified as 15-year-old Adnan, son of Aman, who also belongs to Jatoi tehsil.
