Oncology ward inaugurated at RMI

Provincial Minister for Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khaliq Ur Rehman on Tuesday inaugurated the newly established modern Oncology Ward and patient care facilities at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI)

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2026) Provincial Minister for Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khaliq Ur Rehman on Tuesday inaugurated the newly established modern Oncology Ward and patient care facilities at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI) .

Chief Executive Officer RMI Shafiq Ur Rehman, Chief Operating Officer, Tariq, Head of Oncology Department Dr Fawad Ul Qamar and other senior officials of the institute were also present on the occasion.

Following the inauguration, the minister visited the newly established Oncology Ward and Oncology Pharmacy where he was briefed in detail regarding the modern treatment facilities, medical services, medicines and patient care systems .

The minister appreciated the state-of-the-art oncology services being offered at the institute and stated that such initiatives would play a vital role in ensuring quality and timely treatment for cancer patients in the province.
