On orders of Federal Ombudsman, submitted of Rs 10,000 deducted from gas bill of petitioner

On the order of Federal Ombudsman Regional Quetta, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) deducted the submitted Rs 10, 000 from the gas bill of the petitioner Zar Khan

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2026) On the order of Federal Ombudsman Regional Quetta, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) deducted the submitted Rs 10, 000 from the gas bill of the petitioner Zar Khan.

Earlier, the petitioner Zar Khan said that he had deposited Rs 10,000 towards the gas bill, but in the next month's bill, these Rs 10,000 were not deducted from the bill, for which he approached the concerned department but no action was taken.

Therefore, to seek justice, he contacted the Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Quetta and filed a petition against the concerned department.

As soon as the petition was received, the Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Quetta initiated a timely inquiry and summoned the concerned department and started an immediate hearing of the case. During the hearing, the concerned department could not give any satisfactory answer.

The Federal Ombudsman issued orders that the collected Rs 10,000 should be deducted from the petitioner's gas bill immediately.

As soon as the orders were received, the concerned department resolved the petitioner's problem.

The petitioner thanked the Federal Ombudsman for this timely and fair decision.
