Olivia Rodrigo fuels romance rumors after NYC outing

Olivia Rodrigo’s personal life is once again in the spotlight after the pop star was photographed sharing intimate moments with financial analyst Julian Croonenberghs during a Brooklyn park outing, fueling speculation that the two may be romantically involved.

The Grammy-winning singer and Croonenberghs were seen holding hands, embracing, and spending time together in New York City, weeks after their low-profile appearances together first sparked dating rumors.

Rodrigo, 23, and Croonenberghs, 26, were photographed together on July 26 during a casual outing at a park in Brooklyn, New York.

The pair were seen walking hand in hand before settling on a grassy area surrounded by trees. Photos showed Croonenberghs wrapping his arms around Rodrigo as she sat between his legs, while the two were also seen kissing each other’s hands.

For the outing, Rodrigo wore denim cut-off shorts, a black tank top, a navy baseball cap, and sunglasses. Croonenberghs appeared in a red pinstriped T-shirt, brown trousers, and white trainers.

Neither Rodrigo nor Croonenberghs has publicly addressed the speculation surrounding their relationship.

However, the pair have reportedly been spotted together several times over the past month in New York City. They also attracted attention after being photographed by a fan at an airport in Iceland on July 20.

Rodrigo later shared a TikTok video from Iceland featuring her latest single, “Stupid Song.” Fans further fueled romance rumors after noticing what appeared to be a man’s hand holding the camera in the video.

Croonenberghs is a private equity associate at Hg and previously worked as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs.

He studied at Brown University and represented the United States men’s national field hockey team between 2018 and 2020.

Unlike Rodrigo, who remains one of the world’s most recognizable young music stars, Croonenberghs has maintained a relatively private public profile.

Interest in Rodrigo’s personal life has grown following the release of her latest album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.”

Fans have speculated that some tracks may reflect her previous relationship with actor Louis Partridge, whom she was reportedly linked to from 2023 to 2025.

The singer has also previously been associated with “High School Musical” actor Joshua Bassett and music producer Zack Bia.
