Oil prices fall to near four-month low

TOKYO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 24th Jun, 2026) Oil prices fell on Wednesday, extending this week's losses and trading near four-month lows hit in the previous session.

Brent crude futures were down 37 cents, or 0.5 percent, at $76.71 a barrel as of 0043 GMT, and US West Texas Intermediate slipped 36 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $72.85 a barrel.

​Both benchmarks declined nearly 1 percent on Tuesday, touching their lowest levels since early March.
