NWB delegation visits NSTP at NUST, explores innovation, entrepreneurship landscape

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) hosted a delegation from the National Workshop Baluchistan (NWB) at the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) here on Thursday to showcase Pakistan’s rapidly growing innovation and entrepreneurship landscape

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jul, 2026) The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) hosted a delegation from the National Workshop Baluchistan (NWB) at the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP) here on Thursday to showcase Pakistan’s rapidly growing innovation and entrepreneurship landscape.

The delegation comprised a diverse group of media professionals, social media activists, youth representatives, students, and faculty members primarily from Baluchistan and other provinces across the country.

During the visit, Director NSTP Mr. Amer Sheikh briefed the delegates on the pivotal role NUST and NSTP play in fostering research, technological innovation, and industry collaboration.

He highlighted how the NSTP functions as a premier hub where academia, industry, government, and entrepreneurs work together to transform creative concepts into market-ready solutions that drive national socio-economic development.

The delegates toured several high-growth tech enterprises based at NSTP, including LearnOBots, Orbit ED, Rapidev, and Kodifly, engaging directly with startup teams to see how emerging technologies are solving real-world challenges.

They also explored early-stage ventures under the Hatch 8 incubator, such as Spatia XR, Sync, WBrains, Edvay, ApnaFarm, Sylatics, Plateau Dynamics, ReCa, UstadApp, and CubeX LMS, gaining valuable insights into digital transformation and startup development.

The visit concluded with an interactive discussion session, reaffirming NUST and NSTP’s ongoing commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent, strengthening regional inclusion, and inspiring young innovators across Pakistan.
