Nursing Director visits wards at Ayub Teaching Hospital, reviews services

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) Nursing Director of Ayub Teaching Hospital, Mehtab Sikandar on Friday visited different wards of the hospital and reviewed nursing services, patient facilities and administrative arrangements.

During the visit, she inspected cleanliness in the wards, availability of medicines, expiry dates and the performance of the nursing staff.

She also directed strict implementation of infection control measures and proper management and safe storage of medicines and medical supplies.

Speaking on the occasion, Mehtab Sikandar said that in line with the vision of the board of Governors, all possible steps are being taken to improve the institution and provide the public with high-quality nursing care.

She also instructed the nursing staff to treat patients with empathy, respect and compassion, adding that such behavior reflects the true identity of a model healthcare institution.
