Notorious drug dealer held in Paharpur police operation

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) The Dera police have arrested a notorious drug dealer during a targeted operation in the limits of Paharpur police station as part of the district-wide crackdown against criminal elements and narcotics trafficking.

The operation was carried out by the Paharpur police under the supervision of SP Paharpur Iqbal Khan Baloch and DSP Paharpur Hafiz Muhammad Adnan.

A team of Paharpur police conducted a raid, which led to the arrest of the accused, identified as Hidayatullah alias son of Kazim Hussain Baloch, a resident of Lar.

During the operation, the police also recovered 1,750 grams of hashish and 500 grams of Ice drug from the suspect’s possession. A case has been registered against the accused.

District police officials reiterated that indiscriminate actions against drug traffickers and other criminal elements will continue to ensure public safety and curb the spread of narcotics in the region.
