No deal for PTI founder:Attaullah Tarar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar has strongly rejected media speculations regarding any "deal" with the incarcerated founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

"There is no deal or leniency for the PTI founder," Tarar said, adding that any impression of the government granting him concessions is "entirely false and misleading".

The minister, in a news statement, said the PTI founder is a convicted criminal serving sentences handed down by the courts.

He maintained that the news suggesting any "special relaxation" is baseless and has no reality.
