No compromise with terrorists: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2026) Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan while reiterating Pakistan’s resolve to eliminate terrorism, on Tuesday categorically said that there would be no compromise with terrorists.

Responding to points raised by opposition members in the Senate, he said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had made it clear that Afghanistan must choose between Pakistan and terrorism.

He said Pakistan had targeted terrorist training camps and would continue to strike terrorist sanctuaries in Afghanistan until the menace of terrorism was completely eradicated.

He said the terrorists had no agenda of their own; rather, they were enemies of Pakistan and were attempting to destabilize the country at the behest of Indian proxies.

Sanaullah urged the opposition to refrain from linking political differences with terrorist activities.

He said the prime minister had personally invited the opposition three times on the floor of the House to come to the dialogue table for the resolution of political issues.

He said the entire nation stood united with the valiant armed forces that defeated India in Marka-e-Haq. The success of the Pakistan Armed Forces was acknowledged not only by the enemy but also by the entire world, he added.

The advisor lauded the sacrifices of the armed forces and personnel of law enforcement agencies who laid down their lives for the maintenance of peace in the country.
