Makkah, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Tuesday explicitly stated that there will be no compromise on the ethics, moral conduct, and behavior of 681 Maktab Nazmeen (supervisors) toward Pakistani pilgrims during their stay in the holy sites (Mashair) of Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Jamarat.
Addressing the Maktab Nazmeen here at the Pakistan Hajj Mission, the Federal Minister directed the supervisors to maintain exemplary conduct and communication so that the pilgrims constantly feel the supportive presence and ownership of the Government of Pakistan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the Pakistan Hajj Mission at every step of their spiritual journey.
The minister emphasized that since the pilgrims hail from diverse regions of Pakistan with distinct languages, cultural backgrounds, and traditions, the operational and moral responsibilities of the Nazmeen double automatically.
The high-level briefing was attended by Director General (DG) Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro, Chief Coordinator Mirza Ali Mahsud, Coordinator Makkah Zulfiqar Khan, Coordinator Finance and Accounts (F&A) Nasir Aziz, Deputy Coordinator Sadaqat Ali Awan, Director Makkah Muhammad Arif Aslam Rao, and Deputy Director Makkah Azizullah, alongside other senior officials of the Pakistan Hajj Mission.
Sardar Muhammad Yousuf reiterated that in accordance with the strict directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, no stone would be left unturned in ensuring maximum comfort and facilitation for the pilgrims.

Outlining the administrative framework, the Federal Minister disclosed that under a robust digital monitoring system, one supervisor (Nazim) has been designated for every 188 pilgrims. This official will remain constantly attached to their respective group from their departure from Pakistan, through their accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, during the performance of rituals, until their safe return home.
The Minister highly commended the exceptional arrangements made by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for hosting millions of Muslims from across the globe, under the visionary leadership and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Reminding the supervisors of the spiritual significance of their duties, the minister said that Almighty Allah has chosen them out of thousands for this noble service. He urged them to deliver 100 percent performance to secure professional success and rewards in the hereafter, warning that any negligence would bring a bad name to the country, while outstanding performers would be honored with formal commendation certificates.
The event concluded with high enthusiasm, with the hall echoing with the passionate official slogan: "Service to Pilgrims is Our Worship!"
