Nine persons injured in collision between rickshaws

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Nine people were injured in a collision between two rickshaws near Gulab Gurmani on Shah Jamal Road, Chowk Qureshi, district Muzaffargarh,Rescue officials said on Monday.

According to the Rescue1122,the accident occurred when the rickshaw drivers attempted to avoid a motorcycle, resulting in a head-on collision.

Two ambulances were immediately dispatched from the nearby station, while police were also informed.

Rescue teams reached the site and provided first aid before shifting all injured to Indus Hospital Muzaffargarh. No fatalities were reported.

The injured were identified as Akbar (28), Muhammad Afzal (41), Naseem Mai (45), Ruqaya Shaheen (47), Pathano Mai (65), Rasheeda Bibi (43), Muhammad Salim (52), Hajra Bibi (39), and Wazeeran Mai (61).

Further investigation was underway.
