Nine injured as bus overturned on Makuana bypass

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) A passenger bus overturned on Makuana bypass near Khurrianwala, which left nine passengers injured on Thursday.

According to Rescue-1122, the bus was heading towards Lahore from Satiana Bungalow which overturned due to over speeding while saving a motorcycle.

The rescue teams reached the spot and started the rescue operation. At least nine passengers were injured in the mishap of which six were provided first aid on the spot, while other critical injured were rushed to Allied hospital.

The injured included Saba Parveen, Iram Shahzadi, Suraya Bibi, Muhammad Ali, Liaqat Ali, Mubashar Ali, Abdul Wahid, Ashraf and Liaqat Ali.
