She said the achievement would not have been possible without the encouragement of her husband, children, and mother.
She said the award I dedicated to Palestine. I was the woman in UK who organised, about two years ago, a successful fundraising event for 800 guests. This was a seated dinner event in UK where I raised over £100,000 for Gaza/Palestine and raised money for a "Limbs4Gaza" project, which I headed, for children who lost their limbs and legs during the war.
Nina Khan Mashriqi also paid tribute to her grandfather, the renowned thinker Allama Mashriqi, saying that his commitment to serving humanity remained a source of inspiration for her work. She reaffirmed her commitment to carrying forward that mission and expressed gratitude to Samara Events UK and the organizers of the British Asians Who Power 100 Awards 2026 for the recognition. The event was held in the iconic five-star The Savoy Hotel in central London.
