Nigehban bazaar established in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) A 'Nigehban Bazaar' has been set up in Bahawalpur on the directive of the Punjab chief minister to provide relief to common people during the holy month of Ramazan.

It has been learnt that such bazaars have been established in several cities of Bahawalpur district including Khairpur Tamewali, Yazman, Hasilpur, Tehsil Saddar, Tehsil City and other areas.

Stalls have been set up at Nigehban bazaar where groceries and commodities are available at cheaper and afforadable rates.

Officials sources said the motive for establishing such bazaar was to provide essential commodities at subsidised rates, aiming to offer maximum relief to the public.
