NIFTAC launches Helpline 1719 to facilitate timely reporting of suspicious activities

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) The National Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center (NIFTAC) has launched Counter Terrorism Helpline 1719 to facilitate the timely reporting of suspicious activities, potential terrorist threats, and ongoing terrorist incidents.

The initiative aims to encourage citizens to promptly inform authorities about any suspicious movements, possible terror plots, or activities related to extremist groups. By providing early information, the public can play an important role in supporting national security institutions and helping prevent potential threats.

In this regard, it has been requested that information regarding Helpline 1719 be widely disseminated through print, electronic, and social media platforms so that the general public becomes aware of the service and is encouraged to report any suspicious activity without delay. Authorities believe that public cooperation through the use of this helpline will further strengthen efforts to safeguard national security and enhance counterterrorism measures across the country.
