NIFTAC launches counter-terrorism helpline 1719 to report suspicious activities

The National Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center (NIFTAC) has launched a 24/7 Counter-Terrorism Helpline 1719 for the timely reporting of suspicious activities, potential terrorism threats and incidents related to terrorism

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) The National Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center (NIFTAC) has launched a 24/7 Counter-Terrorism Helpline 1719 for the timely reporting of suspicious activities, potential terrorism threats and incidents related to terrorism.

According to a handout issued on Tuesday, the district administration Sanghar has appealed to the public, social media users and media representatives to widely disseminate information about the helpline through print, electronic and social media so that citizens and relevant stakeholders could be encouraged to promptly report any suspicious activity.

The handout further stated that concerned officers and the district administration had also been requested to install pana-flexes and banners at important locations to ensure maximum public awareness about the helpline.

Citizens have also been urged to remain vigilant and prepared to deal with any potential emergency situation. In view of the prevailing national and international circumstances, the public has been advised to adopt precautionary measures and avoid large public gatherings.
