New water supply schedule issued for Eid holidays

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) has issued a new water supply schedule for Eid-ul-Azha holidays to ensure uninterrupted provision of potable water to citizens across the city.

Managing Director (MD) WASA Saqib Raza said here on Tuesday that water supply on the first day of Eid-ul-Azha would remain operational from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. and again from 4.p.m. to 7 p.m.

He said on the second and third days of Eid, water supply would continue from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. while evening supply timings would remain from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

He clarified that water supply operations would continue strictly in accordance with the announced schedule during Eid holidays and all available resources had been mobilized to facilitate the citizens.

He said that WASA’s free helpline 1334 would remain functional round the clock during Eid days and the citizens could register complaints regarding water supply or sewerage related issues at any time.

All complaints received through the helpline would be addressed on priority basis to ensure uninterrupted civic services and maximum relief to the residents during Eid-ul-Azha, he added.
