New deputy superintendent appointed to Bahawalpur jail

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jul, 2026) The Punjab Home Department has ordered the transfer and posting of senior jail official Syed Asad Kamran Wajid with immediate effect.

According to a notification issued by the department, Syed Asad Kamran Wajid (BS-17), who was serving as Deputy Superintendent (Executive) at District Jail Khanewal, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Superintendent (Executive) at Central Jail Bahawalpur with immediate effect and until further orders.

The notification further directs Wajid to assume charge of his new assignment without delay.
