MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) High Court Bar Association Multan (HCBAM) is going to employ artificial intelligence (AI) technology for the first time ever in its annual elections scheduled for Feb 28, thanks to a free AI software designed by National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), Islamabad, to bring ease of voting to lawyers and maintain transparency.
Senior lawyer Syed Riaz ul Hassan Gilani, in his capacity as chairman election board, told a news conference here Tuesday that NCAI Islamabad has designed a software to assist the HCBAM election board free of charge and this modern system will send message via SMS and Whatsapp to voters a day ahead of polling with details of their vote number and polling booth number. Gilani was accompanying election board members advocates Azhar Hayat, Faheem Gardezi and coordinator Sabir Hussain Bhadwal.
Gilani said, voters can also get their details by sending a message to a particular number. The purpose behind applying the novel idea was to save lawyers from unnecessary hassle and avoid any trouble on the polling day.
