National inter-departmental netball championship to begin on August 1

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) National Inter-Departmental Netball Championship under the auspices of Pakistan Netball Federation will begin from August at PSB Coaching Centre, here.

This was stated by President, Pakistan Netball Federation, Sameen Malik on Friday.

He said that all arrangements will be finished in the Organizing Committee meeting on July 27.

Six men’s and women’s each teams from different departments are participating in the championship, including Pakistan Army, Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Police, Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Railways.

The managers’ meeting of the teams participating in the championship will be held on July 31, in which the draws of the championship will be announced and the rules will be informed. The championship will continue till August 2 and prizes will be distributed among the winning players at the end of the championship.
