NA proceedings adjourned till Monday over lack of quorum

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Proceedings of the National Assembly were adjourned on Friday until Monday at 3 pm due to a lack of quorum.

Soon after the House’s business began, MNA Iqbal Afridi raised a point regarding the quorum.

In response, Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah ordered a headcount, after which the House was suspended for a short break to complete the quorum check.

When proceedings resumed, the Deputy Speaker called for a headcount again. Observing that the House was still not in order, he adjourned the session until Monday at 3 pm.
