According to the Murree District Administration, all relevant line departments have been put on high alert following the Pakistan Meteorological Department's forecast regarding the first monsoon spell.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, said that the district administration, Rescue 1122, municipal institutions, and other departments are actively mobilized in the field to handle any emergency situation.

The DC noted that the meteorological department has predicted more rains during the first week of July. He advised tourists visiting the hill station to check weather updates before traveling and strictly adhere to the safety guidelines issued by the administration.
The administration further appealed to citizens and tourists to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy downpours, remain cautious near landslide-prone areas, and immediately contact the Rescue 1122 helpline in case of any emergency.
